PRACTICE NEWS
The Artificial Insemination program will be up and running very soon. Megan MacInnes has worked hard to make this happen. The program will be located at the Mill St Office in Arlington. We are very excited to be able to offer another valuable service to our clients.
The Latina Doulas are now available to all Spanish speaking midwifery patients! The doulas provide professional labor support and help with communication between patients and providers. This is funded by a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts grant.
MAMA is exploring the possibility of starting a drop-in postpartum support group in Arlington. This would be open to all MAMA clients and anyone in the community who would be interested in stopping by. More information coming soon! Be sure to ask your midwife about it.

Student update:
Laura Sundstrom, our Yale student, has passed her comps and is now a graduate midwife. We are all proud of her, but sad to see her go. We know she will provide wonderful care to her lucky new clients, wherever she goes.
Jennifer Taylor is a midwifery student at Boston University, and will be joining us in July for six months of clinical supervision. She has been a nurse at Beth Israel, and swims with Cambridge Masters Swim Club in her free time. We look forward to having her with us!
