Editor's note: Summertime-the living is easy, and there isn't all that much news…but things should pick up in the fall, so come back in a couple of months!

PRACTICE NEWS

We welcomed Jennifer Taylor, a midwifery student from Boston University, to our group on July 8. Jen will be with us through the summer and fall. She has been working on Thursdays with Sharon Mullen at the Center for Women. In September, she'll begin working with us at the Birthplace.


PERSONAL NEWS

Maryann spent her vacation in July in Ann Arbor, MI with her daughter Jo, son-in-law Wes and new granddaughter Zara who is pictured in the pop-up window on the home page. As of this writing, Zara weighs 8 lb 4 oz and her parents have just celebrated her one-month birthday.

Robyn ran Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, MN in June in 3:38, thus qualifying for Boston, which she plans to run next year.

Julie and her husband Aaron are expecting their first baby, gender unknown, at the end of September. She'll be on maternity leave during the fall and return part-time in January.
